First Family Fun & Women On Water Friday Here We Come
The forecast looks good, high tide is 18.42 and we are all set for the first ever Family Fun Friday and Women On Water event so come on down and join us this Friday 19 May!
The rescue/coach boat will be on the water between 18.00 and 20.00 so get down to the club, get your boats/paddle boards/kayaks/rowing dinghies on the water and join in the fun. Craig Bond will be available to offer coaching advice for anyone who would like a bit of extra help.
For those who don’t want to go afloat there will be sundowners from the bar from 7pm and Ian and Tina will be firing up the Beach BBQ so there’s no need to miss out.
We want to encourage the girls to get involved too with a relaxed opportunity to get afloat without the pressure of racing (or being shouted at by the old man!). The week Fiona Brown will be out in her BOD Grethe so if you haven’t done much sailing and fancy joining her just come down to the beach and get a lift out in the RIB for a gentle trip around the bay.
If you are already an experienced lady sailor please bring your own boat and join in the fun and perhaps you could even help us introduce some of your girlfriends to sailing too.
The club boats will be available to use for those with experience. To book a boat please use the Club Boat Booking Form.
