We love that everyone at BSC is highly competitive, and we appreciate that in the heat of battle or in the face of disappointment, one can occasionally become over excited or loose one’s temper. However, we have had a few cases of bad language reported to the committee recently so we would like to take this opportunity to remind all members that we should be kind and polite to our fellow competitors and race officials at all times and that bad language and aggressive behaviour are never acceptable. We hope that we never have cause to exercise it, but don’t forget that when it receives reports of poor language or behaviour, your committee has the right to call a hearing under Rule 69. Please help us ensure fair and fun sailing for all and count to ten next time you feel you want to give someone a piece of your mind.
