If you are planning on visiting Brightlingsea Sailing Club for an event there is plenty of good quality local accommodation.

The sailing club is next to a camping site (see below) and there are a variety of B&B’s and hotels to suit most budgets and tastes.

Brightlingsea can get very busy with visitors in the summer with holidaying visitors so if you are coming for an event, book early if you can.

If you are baffled or stumped and give one of the Club Oƒfficers a call, we can often point you in the right direction.

Sixty minutes from the outskirts of London and 45 minutes from the M25 – Brightlingsea is easily accessible for those living to the North East of the capital.

Chelmsford and Ipswich are 30 mins distance and 15 mins brings you to us from Colchester or Clacton.

To find our club, first get yourself to Brightlingsea. Then, the sailing club is located at the lower end of the town, in Oyster Tank Road, off Colne Road. If you follow the signs to the Waterfront, rather than the town centre, you shouldn’t miss us.

The all important address for that SatNav is:

Brightlingsea Sailing Club
