I see these starts are back to starting when there is more water! Hurrah!!!!!
I am getting fed up with hitting the centreplate trying to get out of the creek at low water
Are these ‘Test events’ to see if more people turn up when not low?
If so can as many people make an effort if they feel it is better to sail when there is more water!
I hope we can then get next years programme for starts to give us more water
I think this is essential to encourage more and more boats out and its good to see the club are doing it.
I also feel that comitee boats are a way forward to get more people out this can be seen when Dan, myself and my girlfriend ran one earlier in the year. People were coming up saying realy good course (that was more Dans doing). It was also good to see a good turnout I think it was around 34 boats.
We have 4 comitee boat starts this year next year maybe could we make it 6 next year then year after that 8?
Maybe others could add there suggestions to see what everyones after?
This could potentially help/assist the program for next year which im sure is a very big job.
Not having a rant just ideas always got to try new things.
