Friday Night Family Fun and Women On Water (WOW) sessions run from May through until July and are timed to coincide with evening high water times to make them perfect for fun at the beach. Rescue boat support is provided and informal coaching advice is available for those who would like it.
The club boats will be available for those who don’t have their own boats, and members of all ages and abilities are welcome to simply come and join in the fun.
As part of the National This Girl Can campaign these Friday sessions include special opportunities to get the girls afloat. Whether you want to race or simply enjoy pottering around our beautiful creeks and rivers for fun, sailing is a great way to get fit and enjoy time in the fresh air. We have female coaches on hand to help get you afloat and introduce you to the sport, and if you discover you love it as much as we do there are plenty of ways we can get you more involved.
The bar will be open and the galley team will be coordinating various offerings from firing up the club BBQs so you can bring your own food to cook, to a bulk order Fish and Chips night and a Curry night) so you can make a great night of it for all the family.
