Medusa in the name of the Brightlingsea Sailing Club central database that contains all membership information and is from the same stable as DutyMan, our duty rota system.
Medusa provides data and information for members whilst reducing the Club’s administration load. The database provides a centralised set of records which is accessible by all (with appropriate security permissions).
MedusaWeb, the members’ on-line part of Medusa, can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection and a browser. A link from the Club’s website (try here) takes our members to a secure login page. Once safely logged in members can view and update their own membership records accessing the same database as club officers and administrators.
Some features of the MedusaWeb are include secure member login, pages for viewing and updating member profiles, interests, qualifications, duty availability and boats, directories of members and boats and an electronic notice board.
