Renewing

The membership year runs from 1st January to 31 December and renewals are sent out by mail at the turn of the year.

How to renew or change your membership

New Members joining after 1st October receive Membership for the following year.

The membership renewal process has moved online and can be found in Medusa here. Detailed instructions are given below:

Step 1:

Login to your Medusa account at https://sailingclubsoftware.com/login/default.aspx?id=B00185 using your login name ([loginname]) and password (a new password can also be set here). If you’ve never registered on Medusa then go to  https://sailingclubsoftware.com/login/register.aspx?id=B00185 to register.

Step 2:

Use the Menu on the top right hand side of the Medusa page to select “My Membership” then “Renewal”.

Follow the online instructions through the renewal path (please note, if you make substantial changes to your membership, they are handled by way of a request to me that will prevent you from completing your renewal until the changes are approved):

  1. on the first page review your Membership type and then, under Members Details, the other members under your membership. Click “Next” when you have completed this section.
  2. on the “Membership Renewal part 2” add/remove your boats and their details then click “Next” again.
  3. On the “Membership Renewal part 3 page” you can see the Harbour Dues item and add/remove Winter Storage if you wish before viewing your pre-calculated account.
  4. Click “Next” again to review your invoice and, if correct click “Payment” (if you believe it to be incorrect, do contact me, and note that you can stop and re-start the online renewal process as you wish).

Step 3:

By now you have arrived at the final page (well done!) and are shown choices to pay by cheque or bank transfer (BACS). If you do want to pay by Debit Card (free) or pay by Credit Card (£5), check the “by cheque” box, press the “Renew” button then contact me on 01206 861610 or by email.

Step 4:

Do send the cheque (see below) or make the BACS payment! Once the payment has been cross checked your will receive confirmation of your renewal.
