URGENT - Change to Start Times On Sunday 25 April - Now 11.00 and 11.25

An error has been spotted in the start times for this coming Sunday's racing. High tide is at 11.33 but the start times had been incorrectly posted on the website at 14.00 for the Alternative Bines Worth Handicap and 14.25 for the Mirror Practice Race.

Please note that the correct start time for the Alternative Bines Worth Handicap Race is 11.00 and that the Mirror Practice Race starts at 11.25.

Our apologies for any inconvenience or confusion this correction might have caused, but we are sure you would all prefer to race on the tide rather than start at half tide on an ebb.

Our thanks to the race management team who have all confirmed that they can still attend at this corrected time.

Whilst writing I would just like to clarify the situation regarding the club's major trophies during COVID-19 restrictions. As agreed last year, whilst significant social distancing restrictions are in place and not all members who race double or triple handed boats have the option to compete the club's main trophies will not be awarded. The race names will be revised slightly to acknowledge this - for example this Sunday's race will be the Alternative Bines Worth Handicap (not the Bines Worth Trophy).
