BSC hosted the 420 National Championship over the bank holiday weekend with the club welcoming 33 teams from the UK, France, Ireland and the USA for four days of tough and highly competitive racing. Dave Charlton headed up the on the water team and despite the vagaries of the weather they are able to deliver ten races over the four days. Many congratulations to Mike Bees and Pete Nicholson on becoming Gul B14 National Champions 2018 after a hard fought competition in Paignton. The opening two days of the three day regatta were frustratingly light, but the final day produced a moderate breeze at last and the championship went out in style with Mike and Pete becoming the latest sailors to add their names to the B14 Nationals Trophy and the BSC Honours Board.

Members are reminded that the must either keep their road trailers under their boats in their boat park spaces or they must be removed completely from the boat park. We currently have some dozen trailers in the boat park and these must be removed.
