  • Volunteering for Race Duties

    I would like to clarify the situation with regard to volunteering for Rescue Duties and OOD. It is possible that the terminology used in this year`s instructions to members may have been misunderstood. Racing members to do 4 duties on the water or in the race office inclusive of Opens. Racing Cadets (16-18) to do 2 duties on the water or in the race office.

    RIP John Bines - Updated - Funeral 25 June

    It is with the greatest sadness that we must inform you of the death of former BSC Commodore John Bines, who passed away on Monday 27 th May following a short stay in hospital.     New Trophies for The River Start Series

    Have a look at these new trophies kindly donated to us from a most unlikely source. These will be awarded to the Overall winner and the first Cadet in the new series starting on May 11th.   • Learn to Sail for Adults and Cadet Night.

    On Wednesday the 8th May we have our first Learn to Sail session of the Season. This starts at 17.45 and is aimed at adults who have had some experience of sailing but want to improve or just get some practise in while their is rescue cover on the water.
