Virtual Racing April Spring Series Launched - UPDATED! 3 Races Per Night
Following the success of our initial test virtual races over the Easter Weekend (congratulations to winners Harry McTiernan and Ollie King) we are delighted to confirm that starting this evening (Tuesday 14 April) we will be running the BSC Virtual April Spring Series. RIP Betty Smith
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of long standing BSC member Betty Smith, who died on 26 March 2020 aged 84 following a battle with pancreatic cancer and Alzheimer's. Betty joined the club in the early 1970's with her husband Tony and sons Mark and Jon. Optimist Spring Championship Cancelled
Following detailed consultation between the International Optimist Class Association and BSC, and in light of the worsening Coronavirus crisis, the decision has been made to cancel the Volvo Gill International Optimist Spring Championship, which was due to have been hosted by the club over the weekend of 14 and 15 March 2020.
