Laying Up Supper & Prize Giving

Ticket for the 2025 Brightlingsea Sailing Club Laying Up Supper being held in the clubhouse on Saturday 25 October.

Join us to celebrate the sailing achievements of the year with dinner, dancing and fun! Tickets cost £47.50 each to include:

A welcome cocktail:
Paloma (Tequila, Grapefruit & Lime Juice)
Woo Woo (Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Cranberry Juice and Lime Juice)
Non-Alcohlic Sangria (alcohol free – Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice, mixed with Lemonade)

A three course dinner (catered by the Lexden Crown) with a choice of:

Starters
Roasted beetroot & goat cheese salad with pea shoots & a balsamic & olive oil dressing (v)
Fishcakes with a chilli mayonnaise & salad
Mushroom & Brie tart with a rocket and balsamic vinegar garnish

Main Courses:
Roasted breast of duck, with caramelised apples, roast parsnips and potatoes
Mediterranean vegetable skewers on a goats cheese sun blushed tomato and rocket risotto
Fillet of Salmon with crushed new potatoes, spinach and creamy chive sauce

Desserts:
Individual apple crumble with cream or custard
Cheesecake & coulis
Dark Chocolate Brownie with cream
