As you will have read the new start hut / race management centre will be ready for the new season (weather permitting). This will be a great improvement to our race facilities.     BSC To Host Winterfest Arts & Crafts Workshops 22 and 23 February

    Once again BSC has been chosen as the venue for the Brightlingsea Winterfest Arts & Crafts Workshops which this year take place on 22 and 23 February. There are a host of wonderful arts and crafts to try and the galley will be open both days serving a selection of hot and cold light meals and snacks and home made cakes.     The Club and Open Meeting Duty Roster is now online and open. All who race with the club are reminded that they are required to volunteer for at least 4 club race/open meeting duties each season.   • BSC AGM To Take Place On Monday 13 April at 11.00

    The 2020 Brightlingsea Sailing Club Annual General Meeting will take place in the clubhouse on Easter Monday 13th April at 11.00 and will be followed by the Commodore's Reception.     BSC Mirror Fleet News Update

    2019 was a terrific season for the BSC Mirror Fleet. It was great to see the number of boats in the dinghy park and taking part in Mirror Training and Racing and Family Fun Fridays steadily increase throughout the year and to have a great Mirror Class at Pyefleet Week too.     Optimist Spring Championship 2020

    The Club is delighted to have been asked to host the 150+ boat Optimist Spring Championship on the weekend of 14 and 15 March 2020.     BSC & CYC Cadets Enjoy Joint End of Season Laying Up Party

    A great Cadet Laying Up Dinner was hosted by the Colne Yacht Club for all the cadets from both BSC and CYC. It was great to see the young sailors from both clubs joining together for this end of season event - a tradition which dates back many decades.
