    The BSC Big Olympics Beach Party

    We're getting the summer holidays off to a great start with our BSC Big Olympics Beach Party on Friday 26 July. With the Olympic Opening Ceremony showing on the TV, music, food, drink and Pétanque on the beach, join us to show our support for the British Sailing Team and celebrate the start of the 2024 Paris Olympics..     RIP Myrna Ekeroth

    It is with great sadness that we report the passing of BSC Member Myrna Ekeroth on Wednesday 13 March 2024, following a short period of illness with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Myrna and her husband Lars had been active members of the club for some years and enjoyed dinghy cruising, kayaking and participating in social events.     RIP John Henderson

    It is with great sadness that we report the passing of long standing BSC member John Henderson, who died peacefully on 6 November 2023 surrounded by his family, just a few days short of his 84th birthday. John, his wife Pat and their daughters Tania and Nicky joined the sailing club over 40 years ago when the girls began attending Tuesday Night Cadets, and he remained an active member right up until this season.
