Cadet Night 9

28th June 2022, from 18:00

These sessions are open to existing and new Cadet sailors (between 8 and 18 years of age). The offer a fun opportunity to get afloat and experience sailing and all the wonderful benefits it has to offer. Sessions are led by BSC Sailing School Principal Craig Bond. No specialist equipment is initially needed, just ensure the children are dressed in suitable exercise clothing with sturdy footwear - old trainers are perfect - plenty of layers to keep them warm, and a waterproof top if possible (we do have a limited supply of loan spray tops but we ask everyone who can to bring their own). Lifejackets will also be provided when needed.

Afloat the aim is to provide a fun but relaxed environment in which the children can enjoy their first Swallows and Amazons adventures afloat. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and so ashore the bar is open and there is plenty of fun on the beach for any younger or non-sailing siblings to enjoy. The galley is also open offering our famous BSC Burgers and Cheesy Chips! For further information please contact Craig Bond on bryer2004@hotmail.com

Those wishing to participate in the sessions are requested to attend this registration session. Participation is free of charge for existing members. The cost to non-members is £52 for the complete series (which runs from May to late July) and this also includes Cadet membership of BSC for the whole of 2022. Parents/responsible adults attending the sessions who would like to use the club bar and facilities can join as a Cadet Night Parent member for £52 or as a member Affiliate (Social) or Full sailing member for the year. Details of all the membership options can be found at https://www.sailbrightlingsea.com/membership/bsc-membership-types-fees-1
