The Club and Open Meeting Duty Roster is now online and open. All who race with the club are reminded that they are required to volunteer for at least 4 club race/open meeting duties each season. Racing sailors have until the end of this month (January 2020) to volunteer, after that time those who have not volunteered for 4 duties will be allocated their duties by the Duty Manager Team. If you haven't already volunteered we strongly recommend you log into the Portal right away using the email address this message is sent to (you can request a new password if you have forgotten it) so you get your preferred dates.
All non-racing club members who are able to do so are also expected to volunteer for duties each season. Those who would like to undertake on water race related duties can volunteer as above. For those who would like to help in the galley opportunities will be made available throughout the year. Our first Galley Duty opportunity is the Optimist Spring Championship on 13, 14 and 15 March and duty slots for this are also now available on the Portal. We need lots of help for this event and we have various approximately 2 hour slots available, so do please put your name down if you can.
