Friday Family Fun BBQs and the River Start Series are Back!

The weather forecast is looking great for this weekend and we have the perfect activities planned to allow you to take advantage of the glorious conditions.

On Friday evening join us for our first Friday Family Fun BBQ of the year. Armin and his team will be firing up the barbie and throwing on the bangers and burgers with food ready from around 7pm. Afloat on Friday night we will have both supported sailing for members and a Try Sailing opportunity in the Wayfarers if anyone would like to get out on the water and give it a go. Members and their guests/friends/families are all very welcome to join us for what promises to be the perfect end to the week.

And on Saturday and Sunday we kick of the 2022 River Start Series with races. Each day will feature two races starting from the committee boat (note this weekend we will be using the main committee boat and not a RIB) on windward leeward or triangular courses (watch the board on the committee boat for confirmation of the course). The first start each day is at 11am and the second race will follow asap afterwards. Click here for the special River Start Series Instructions and main Sailing Instructions.

On Saturday afternoon from 1pm Transition Squad will be on the water and on Sunday the Mirror Fleet will be joining the River Start Race, starting with the main fleet, for Race 5 of their series.
