Regatta Weekend at BSC

July 16 and 17 is Brightlingsea Regatta and once again BSC will be playing a focal role in this much loved annual event. There's something for everyone over the course of the weekend including the return of the Saturday Night Firework Spectacular so do come down and join in the fun when you can. Here's a quick overview of what's on when:

Saturday 16 July

10am to midnight Bar and Cafe open to members and the public

10am to 6pm - Stalls and food outlets open in the car park

Noon to 5pm - BSC Beach Party & BBQ

Noon to 4.30pm - Try Dinghy Sailing & Powerboating

2pm onwards - Children's activities and bouncy castle

2pm - Rotary Club Crabbing Competition (register with Rotary Stand in the car park)

5pm onwards - Pre-fireworks party and BBQ

6pm - Brightlights Youth Theatre Group perform on ramp

8.30pm - Fire Engine open to visitors (call outs permitting)

9pm - Prefireworks Show on the ramp

9.30pm - Firework Spectacular

Sunday 17 July

10am to 6pm Bar and Cafe open to members and the public

10am to 6pm - Stalls and food outlets open in the car park

Noon to 5pm - BSC Beach Party & BBQ

Noon - Rotary Club Sandcastle Competition (register with Rotary Stand in the car park)

Noon - Fire Engine open to visitors (call outs permitting)

2pm - Jodi Jug Regatta Racing & Hickley Tiller for BODs - from BSC club line

2.15pm - Gig Race starts from BSC club line

3pm - St Helena Hospice Paddle Board & Kayak Race (register at the Hospice stand in the car park)

3.30pm - Traditional Boat Procession through the harbour

6pm Regatta Closes
