RIP Glynis Sorrell - Funeral 25 February, Noon, All Saints' Church

It is with the very greatest of sadness that we must inform you that BSC Honorary Life Member Glynis Sorrell passed away suddenly on Tuesday 5th February. Although taken ill very suddenly her girls, Mandy, Donna and Melissa, were all able to be with her. Our thoughts are with them and their families at this saddest of times.

Glynis had been a member of the club since the early 80s and had been a incredible contributor to club life in so very many ways ever since, including serving as a Flag Officer. Her Christmas and Easter Lunches were the stuff of legend and she touched the lives of so many members personally with her quiet presence, listening ear, sound advice and lovely smile.

The funeral will take place on Monday 25th February at Noon at All Saints' Church, Brightlingsea and will be followed by a wake at the club. The family have requested only family flowers and that any donations be made to Brightlingsea First Responders.
